Serving others is one of the most exhilarating and Christ-like roles we have and the HER Ministries Team loves providing women with ways to help others.  God has good things for us to do; now it’s our choice to get involved and do them!  

 

• Supporting Project Opportunity at the Bryant Center in Fairfax County by purchasing, wrapping and delivering Christmas gifts to the teen moms and their children.  We support them year round with donations of baby items.

• Making handmade gifts for women at Bethany House, a women’s domestic violence shelter.

• Making blankets for children receiving treatment at the Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children’s National Medical Center.

• Partnering with Hope for Women International to start a Widow’s Sponsorship Program in our sister village of Bunyinza, Uganda.

• Provide food donations to Lorton Community Action Center and supporting those working with homeless populations.
